If I am not motivated,
– I plan to only work for 10 minutes (this helps me starting if I am not motivated).
– I write half sentences and or start in the middle of the paragraph
I work very well,
– once others left the office, because then I have more peace around me (after 4 in the afternoon)
– if I stand or if I put up my feet
– if I have to write and am under pressure, I walk around in circles thinking about what I want to write (imaginary mind map). this works very well for abstracts, discussions… Then I sit down (5 Minutes) and write it down (not perfect), then I stand up and walk around again… If I am not productive anymore I go for a walk, calm down and start again.
– if I write in a text editor, because this is less official. If I write on word directly I work far slower. And I turn off spelling corrections.
